How does National Life (NL) business pay?
NL (New York) business payments are made through PFA. NLG pays PFA; we process the commissions throughout the hierarchy, and pay at the following PFA pay-run. If the Target Premium is over $10,000 a signed & dated copy of the delivery receipt is required to be submitted to the PFA home office. Please send these to commissions@pfaonline.com. Once the free look period has expired, the policy will be paid at the following pay run.
PFA pays just like NLG. Pay run dates are every Friday and the agents receive their direct deposits on the following Tuesday. You can find a copy of the pay schedule on P-Trac. Click on Library – Printed Materials – Scroll to the bottom and Click on “2020 Weekly Pay Dates for P-Trac”.
Please understand that our goal in the commissions department is to pay you as quickly as possible. Due to the large number of agents and the high volume of policies, we cannot take time away from processing business to advise agents when each policy will pay out. We recommend that you check the Pay Dates in P-Trac so you can have a better understanding of when your policy will pay out. Depending on the draft, the policy will either pay on the pay date indicated or the following pay date. Also, check your PFA Statements each week to see what business was paid for at each specific pay run. If you need further instructions on how to retrieve your PFA Statement please click on the FAQ Website link below.
Policies are not marked “PAID” in P-Trac until the business has been paid out to the hierarchy.
