Outstanding Requirements Deadline for Month End & Special Competitions

If you are trying to qualify for a trip, a promotion, a bonus pool, or anything similar which has a deadline, we need you to follow a few basic steps to help ensure your policies are issued on time.

#1. Don't wait till the last minute: If you do, chances are we won't be able to get your case(s) issued in time. Provide any outstanding requirements you can as soon as you can.

#2. Everyone is pushing for the same goal: Understand that there are hundreds of other agents also trying to hit the same goal as you on any given month. Your only advantage is time, the more cases you can provide requirements for quickly, the more cases which can receive a final review by an underwriter and hopefully tip the scales in your favor to get that needed promotion, bonus pool, etc.

#3. Be clear with your communications: Whenever you reply to an underwriter email, make sure you answer ALL of the questions that were posed. Answering one or two questions will not resolve all the requirements if there are four or five questions that were asked.

#4. Don't guess: Whether you think you know someone very well or not, it is never a good idea to hazard a guess in answering an underwriting question. Make sure you speak with the client and ask them directly.

#5. Utilize your dedicated team: Contact the PFA Underwriting team to ask for status updates. Send an email to underwriting@pfaonline.com with your inquiries, we're much more capable of responding to your request in less than 24 hours.

#6. The last week of every month is the busiest: Send in your requirements as early as possible and follow up with the PFA Underwriting team members with any questions you may have. Together we can work on getting cases issued and qualifying you for a trip, a bonus pool, or other special competition.
