Dress Code/Trip Attire FAQs
The agenda will state the preferred attire for each specific event.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: You will not see guests wearing t-shirts, muscle shirts or tank tops, etc in the public areas of the hotels. Also, in the evening you will not see guests in shorts, t-shirts or flip flops, but rather in "Smart Casual" attire (see below). No sweatsuits, casual jeans, or cut-offs are appropriate for any attendees.
Day wear includes dress shorts, appropriate PFA t-shirts or golf shirts, slacks, or normal knit tops or polo shirts. Some other items to remember are sandals, suntan lotion, sunglasses, a hat, good walking shoes, and a raincoat.
Q: Can I wear heels?
A: It is your choice, but please take note of the type of excursion. The suggested attire will also be posted in the agenda for your consideration.
Q: What is considered Cocktail Attire?
A: For men, dress slacks, sport coat with open collar (PFA jackets are encouraged.) For women, cocktail dresses.
Q: What is considered "Smart Casual"?
A: The definition of "Smart Casual Attire" is well put-together and professional in a relaxed way. For men, it's nicely tailored slacks paired with a nice shirt (no t-shirts). Dress shirt with open collar, jacket optional. For women, it's dresses, slacks and skirts with nice tops, or pantsuits.
